Hi folks,

I ordered RJ's deflectors last week.&nbsp\\; He emailed and said they would be shipped on tuesday the 10th. No time too soon.&nbsp\\; Rode about 200 miles yesterday in 98 degree temps, it was HOT.&nbsp\\;

The wife complains that her right leg is getting really hot, wondering if this will help that also?

Anyone had any experience with the highway pegs for the passenger?

Thanks.

&nbsp\\;I have the adjustable backrest and RJ's fit perfect on my 08 Ultra.. Can reach the handle very easy.............................................. .................................................. ....................

I agree, it's a really well made product.

I'm sending mine back though. If you have the adjustable backrest, it's very difficult to get to ii with the Rj's installed.
Web site says easy accesses, but am here to tell you it's not easy.

If I didn't have the adj back rest, these would be perfect.

I wrapped mine and it made it worse? It seemed to hold the heat, when I was riding. Without the wrap the wind at least blew it past my leg, I have not tried the NMFT but I am considering a set.

Kuryakyn heat shields work.

&nbsp\\;
I have them and mine don't work...&nbsp\\; Note my signature for stage 1 items and my friggin thighs fried today..&nbsp\\; The Kuryakyn in my case is a waste of money.

these are the easiest heat deflectors to get to your adjust back rest button, just bend them a little none of the other companies will let you have any access to that button. atleast with rj's you got some access. if you'r thinking about going with a different brand they wont fit at all, the harley site says their heat shields can not be used with an adjustable backrest at all kuryakyn also.
