Default Gear for trips

Going on 2 week trek about 4500 starting 6/13.&nbsp\\; What is some of the gear you guys take with you besides the essentials such as rain gear, chaps, coat, tools, tire plugs, air compressor.&nbsp\\; Loking for ideas I may have missed.

Harley has a very good packing list on the web site.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I have used it for the last 5 years and have not found anything missing yet (knock on wood).

With today's gas prices, lots of money or a good credit card!!!!!
&nbsp\\;
Never fails, what you take may not be enough or never used. I usually get&nbsp\\; by with what I have.

If you're going anywhere other than the desert states, a really good rain suit and an alternate route plan.&nbsp\\; Also full coverage insurance on the bike &amp\\; gear.
&nbsp\\;
Have a safe and enjoyable trip,
&nbsp\\;
John

Some sort of water bottle attachment to the bars
It can be fancy or basic, but when you are going down the road in the heat it is always nice to be hydrating.&nbsp\\; If you wait until every gas stop I think that is too long.
