There are four tabs, two on the bottom and two on the top.&nbsp\\; I pull up and out on the bottom of the cover with your fingers and once the bottom is out wiggle and pull the top out.&nbsp\\; It just pops right back in.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and get the wood wedges or shims...The come in a package of about 10 for $1.09.....take two of them and locate the lower tabs on the light cover and ease the shimes into the seam at the tabs....when they are pushed far enough back the shims will engage the tabs and it will pop loose....do the reverse to reinstall it...the wooden shims will not scratch the fairing paint

Be very carfull using anything metal or sharp - you will chip your paint and then the plastic will not look as bad...&nbsp\\; Long story - you could remove the fairing???&nbsp\\; a little much on the work side to do this but it can be done....&nbsp\\; do you have time??
