Default Anyone power their GPS with the wires in the headlight nacelle?

I want to run the power to my Zumo 550 from the wires in the headlight.&nbsp\\;I know others have done this but my '06 RK must be wired differently since I don't see the same wires as they used.
&nbsp\\;
Thanks.&nbsp\\;

I did it that way on my 08 RKC.&nbsp\\; There were two unused wires up there and I just hooked in.&nbsp\\; You should have enough power there since the Zumo uses so little power.&nbsp\\; Just go find the wire to the headlights and make sure it's powered in both high and low beam.&nbsp\\; Fishing wires under the tank is a pain.

I connected my Garmin 2820 there as well.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; It was about 6" back from the wire plug at the headlight itself.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

There should be an unused wire in there that accepts a spade terminal.&nbsp\\; It's for the fender tip light that is not installed on the RK Classic.&nbsp\\; That's what I used for power for my GPS.&nbsp\\; It's a switched circuit, also works with the main switch turned to accessory.

Not too big?&nbsp\\; I'm not sure but the size I needed was in the terminal assortment I had at home.
