Have questions about my new Ultra
Just bought a 1997 Ultra, and I can't seem to make the radio frequency selector on the bars select a frequency. When I go to tune up or down, it seems to go into scan mode. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Appreciate any thoughts.
Sure like it; it is a great ride!

RE: Have questions about my new Ultra
You best bet is to pick up an owners manual from the MOCO http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
or ebay.

I wish I could help but I have the manual for the 2006 and I believe it has a different radio.
This is what it says for my radio. May be of some help:
Set Time Of Day
Set the time of day with the ignition/headlamp key switch turned to IGNITION or ACCESS but with the stereo reciever OFF.
Press the SET soft key on the front panel to display the TIME SETUP menu.
To increase the HOURS in the display, press the HOURS+ soft key.
To decrease hours, press the HOURS- soft key.
To increase the minutes, press the MINUTES+ soft key,
To decrease the minutes, press the MINUTES- soft key.
or ebay.

RE: Have questions about my new Ultra
Thanks, guys. Got it all figured out...guess you have to be smarter than the clock. By the way, I think I'm going to paint this bike here in the next week or two, and wondered if there is a program that you know of that would let me view different color schemes (maybe something like Photoshop)?
I think I would like to stay with the current Ultra factory scheme, just change colors ( it is currently all white, and needs some color).
