Default Tour Pak Lid Liner

Just thought I would pass this info on for those who do not know about it.

I put new full face helmet in tour pak and later on my trip my second pair of gloves got under the hemet and rasied it up a little. Well that was just enough for the tour pak rack bolt to scrape the top of it and eat the paint off.[:@] New HD sticker on there now to cover it up.

So I wanted something to go over the head of the scratching bolts. I went to dealer to check out the 08 Anniversary SE Ultra to see what they did for this.

They had a nice formed black liner in the lid that had 5 velcro strips holding it. I looked in the big book and no it was not there. So I had the dealer give me the part number and ordered it. $55.00

Part number 53280-08

try this guy,I had him make me a liner that matched my pillow seat and pass back rest, I paid less with the shipping and having him custom make this tour pak liner, good experience ,nice guy to deal with. I had the same problem with the rack bolts marking things up in the tour pak. There is a pic of it in my photo gallery

I boughtrubber pad with adhesive on one side and attached it to the sides and top of both saddle bags, tour pack and lids. Its only 1/8" thick but does a great job of adding additional padding.

Great idea. They look terriffic. I have the lid organizer that works for me so i really have no need for this item...but they do look great and add a bit of flair to the lid.

Reasonable price and a good fit. I'd recommend this one.

I looked at the one in the link but it only covers the top of the lid. The HD one covers all 4 sides also. You can order it online for 45.00 from Chicago HD.

I thought about the organizer but it would take away some height in the tour pak so that Is why I want the liner.
