I am 5'10 and the Harley short arm adjustable mounts are perfect. Thesalesman at the dealership is 5'4 and uses the short arm one too.

As a short guy myself I have experienced this seveal times with different bikes.
There are seveal solutions for you.
My personal choices are
kuryakyn tour-tech
HD Long Offset peg mounts
Both will allow you to use the lower fairing if that is a possible question for the future.
I presently am using the kuryakyn long horn offsets. You are limited to how you can use them if you are using a lower fairing. If a lower fairing is not being/considered used you can get buy with the long horns.
I will be changing out my long horns for the tour tech by fall when I put my lower fairing back on.

hope this helps

I have FBI Jack-Knife pegs and really like them.
When not in use they fold under the floor boards.
I'm 5' 6" and I like the clean look of the crash bar.

I kept my long horn offsets when I sold my bike.........am waiting for new clamps and Kury "mini-boards" to get here to go on my new UC.&nbsp\\; Are you&nbsp\\;saying this is not going to work as well as I think it will?&nbsp\\; (I am long legged so I am not planning to bring them back towards me.)
