Default Highway pegs

My 08 Street Glide is in getting serviced because of some clanking in my primary. I am slapping on some short arm harley extend mounts for my engine guard highway pegs. My legs are a little shorter so my boots and rest on the pegs better. I have been getting that kink in my neck and back on long rides. I am looking into replacing the seat and or bars. I am hoping that maybe the highway pegs might put me in a better relaxed position and that might be all I need. Whatcha think? Has pegs helped at all for anyone?

I use my highway pegs quite often, but even though they let me stretch my legs and get more comfortable, I am not sure they will do much for your neck and back.

They mainly help me by allowing me to change my position every now and then and that helps on long rides. I don't use them much on short rides or when I might need to get on the brakes quickly.

You might want to look into a back rest or some easy reach bars.

Krome Werks or Wild1 Chubby's for the bars.

I will. I am going to start with highway pegs. Then go to the C&C fastback seat if that doesn't work. Then to 13 inch cyclesmith's for a last try.

I think the pegs'll work...could check out floorboard extensions too, like Soos.
Mount 'em where you can reach 'em easily, and so you can push yourself into the seat.
Weight distribution and alignment are key...all starts with the feet.
Might seem too simple...but think about it. Try sitting in a chair, lift your feet off the ground, and hold that position.
Gonna start feeling it everywhere, core, back, neck, legs. Hav'ta be firmly planted.
Hope your pegs help...mine did wonders for me.
