For all of you that ride in the hot south, can you recommend any riding pants that are lightweight but also give good protection either with armour or type of material? Currently I wear jeans and leather chaps which I think would be somewhat warm on a Texan summer day...

 

JUST PLAIN OLD JEANS WORK FOR ME IN SUNNY SOUTH FLORIDA, I CANT IMAGINE LEATHER CHAPS BEING VERY COOL

 

First Gear Mesh riding Pants work for me. Cooler than jeans and armor protection.

Of course I don't think they are as protective as "leather chaps" but I'm straight so I wouldn't know about the chaps [sm=sorry.gif][sm=escape.gif]
