I am using the Euro lamps in the original housing with Osram 80/100 H4s. MAJOR difference. I don't know anything about the '09-'10.

On an earlier thread about using the SE bezel, someone may have said they used or will try some of that clear film. I think the concern was more about scratches than breakage.

They do a better job alone than my Fatboy with the extra lights onit. And when we ride at night they like having the RG up front
+1 I like the wider distribution of light. It helps to see the critters on the side of the road. I am thinking about "frenching" in some driving lights in the lower fairings.

I was checking Zanotti's. My local dealer can only scratch his head & azz about this part. I'd draw then a picture but not sure it would help.

I have an 04 Rg I imported from Texas as they are not sold in Europe. I thought the lights would dip to the left and paid about $400 for UK spec lamps which also have a small lamp between the head lamps as we don't use the turn signal marker lamps. I then found out the 04 lamps dip straight down so would have been legal here. Can't say i noticed any difference in the reflector between the US and UK lamps.
I also added a pair of 55w spots to the lower fork leg.

Any issues with wiring/fuses running the 80/100 lamps? I plan on using the 65/70 Osram lamps as suggested by Danial Stern

No wiring issues. The whole point of the Euro unit is that the beam of light itself is much better, no matter what bulbs you use. You are gonna love it.

I ride at night 50% of the time. With high beams on my road king it's not too bad. Proper adjustment is important though.
