i had to adjust the lights on mine, they were way low from the factory. that was a great improvement. then i added sylvania silverstars ,even better. my bike has better lights than any of my three vehicles. i ride to work at 5:00 in the morn on a regular basis, 47 miles mostly on a two lane country highway full of every kind of creature imaginable. i really believe it would be hard to improve on this setup.

The reflectors work with the Osram and the Narva bulbs (per Daniels Sterns recommendation) for kicks I tried a HID setup (Mcculloch) and the light wasn't even close to being controlled. It put out a "more intense light" looking at it but beam was scattered.

If you want HID go with some HID spotlights (PIAA has a new set out with the ballast in the housing).

I may be a bit late in posting this comment and it may be out of place ( Super Glide vs Road Glide). Since installing dual headlights on my SG others have commented that the intensity of the second non halogin addon headlight (taken from a '96 Lowrider) is much brighter than the OEM H4 halogin when on low beams and running during the daytime. The older non haligin headlamp projects a rather round beam and the newer haligin headlamp projects a narrow flat horizontal beam directed downward to the road surfice (when veiwed at night). It's a differant story when on high beams. The halogin lamp is much brighter and also projects a round beam that will light up the tops of the trees sort of speek. So I can understand the rational of using two differant bulbs in the headlights on your RG's that have been mentioned in the previous posts.

So if I put in my Candle Power German Rally H4's 80/100 into the Euro headlamp assembly, that would be over kill right? I'll let you know what it's like. Spot lights come to mind.

I love the Silverstars in mine. If you think the stock RG lights are bad. Check out a springers lights flickering and bouncing. That would make me sick.

I got HID's from Howard at motorcyclemetal for my 08 RG and they are fantastic a little pricey but they light up the road and you won't be disappointed.Great product and Howard is a great help and stands behind his product.

When I had my Road Glide I thought the light output was pretty good compared to the single bulb batwing lights. Not great. But it wasn't that bad.

Arrow Euro headlight upgrade part number?

68995-01 doesn't work on my dealer searches. Anyone got a different part number for this?

I just checked www.surdyke.com. It is there, don't know why you have a problem.
