Default Road king parts assumed to fit FLHRC?

My question is that I am looking for parts for my 08 road king classic and a lot of places don't specify if it does or doesn't fit my bike. It always mentions if it will fit a road king though. Can I assume that if it will fit a road king it will fit a classic? For example exhausts?

Also, this is my first post as i just bought my bike and this is my first harley. I havn't even had a chance to see it yet as i am currently deployed in iraq and won't be home for leave for another few weeks. I am trying to by some shiny things for my bike for when i get home for a couple weeks. Thanks.

I may be wrong but the only differences I know ofare a few little details like the soft bags, wheels and tires. You be safe and hurry home to your family, friends and The King.

I have an 07 road king custom and run into the same problem, the part number will fit a standard/classic road king but it specify will not fit road king custom, I have not run into any problems where parts do not fit, but to protect my investment I usually go back by the service manager and run it by him.

First, thanks for your service and stay safe. Check with the vendor before buying as to fitment for your RK model, or post what it is you want to add--chances are good somebody has already done it/tried it, and can let you know about fitment.

When parts are listed for Road King that would be for Roadking standardor claissic, and some times the RoadKing Custom. Mostly the details like floorboards, seats, handlebars, rear shocks, and turn signals are differant.A lot of parts fit all three bikes.
