Yes,congratulations on your 22nd anniversary. I'm very glad to hear she will be fine also.
I know alot of guys will disagree with what I've done to my bike, but I don't want HIT !!!
I have a headlight modulator on the front and I bought the rear spoiler for my tour pack, JUST so I could put a modulator in that too ! Better seen than hit. That gives me a flashing red light across the top the entire time I have my brake on. If they don't see thast, they wouldn't have seen a car in front of them.
I know some guys think they look stupid, but I really couldn't care less what they think, I'm safer than without them. And so is my wife that I couldn
't replace !!!

 

holy crap....glad she is still around.....sue the bitch!!!.....bike replacement injurys pain and suffering cost of a loaner bike....*** her she needs to pay big time

 

Glad to hear that your wife is OK.

Amazing some of the stories I have heard as to why someone decides to forego traffic laws and do something stupid. At least she readily admitted the fault.

 

Man I am really sorry to hear that. My prayers will be for you and your wife. Hey listen she has got to get back on a bike as soon as she can unless she isn't mentally ready to do so. I was in an accident last August and almost lost my leg. However, after 2 hours of deliberation, the trauma surgeons decided to keep it. I have had 7 surgeries, spent 3 months in a wheelchair, and been in therapy since November (still in it to). I am facing another surgery next month and then a total knee replacement in the fall. All at 27 years old! Now the good news is I bought my new bike in Decemeber while still on crutches. I wasn't released to drive or go back to work until Feb. but that didn't stop me from taking short rides around the neighorhood in Jan. Tell her to keep up the good spirits!
