I kept the 03 Sporty, and bought an 02 RK, now the Sporty collects dust. You'll love the Touring bike.

 

Did the same from my Street Bob to the SG. Won't ever look back.

 

Don't really know why, just seen a few Dyna riders switch recently, maybe just my impression, but for me, the Streetglide has a feel like my Dyna where I am sitting 'IN" the bike, not on it, it feels more nimble than the larger baggers, and that's another thing I like about my FXD.
I really need to get out and test ride a SG.

 

Traded my FB for my SG. 2000 miles in a month and all smiles!!

 

Went from a 98 FB to a 2K Duece to a 01 RK. I never looked back. Hell in 01 most people didnt think FL's were cool. Me I always like the way they looked and the way they rode. Enen if this bagger thing runs out I will still be on a bagger 10 year from now.

 

I traded my 02 DWG3 CVO bike for a 08 SG....I really liked the WG cept now with the SG the wife rides WITHOUT complaining about the seat....and thats worth it to me...plus I like the radio, seat, the sound of the Rinehart True duals, the rear lowering kit I installed...it looks and sounds tuff. No regrets. Hell if I had the other bike it would just sit

 

For me, it was a bad back. I've got habitual back problems and the Dyna was a much more rigid ride. Sitting at a light would throw my lower back into spasm. Even after $3K in "comfort" mods to make it ride better, it still wasn't doing me any good. I went to the SG because it was a smoother, more comfortable ride. It's paid off.

 

I did the exact same thing......... fxdl to SG! Best thing ever.....

 

I went from an FXDX last fall to my 08 Ultra....really liked the Dyna, but after a couple rides on the Ultra there was no looking back.

 

Well the bike is in the shop for sale now!

No return now! It is going to be a long wait![:@]
