Default Chrome wheel etiquette

Ok, looking at changing to a 9 spoke chrome wheel on my Ultra.
Questions do I switch to a black wall or stay with the thim white wall. I have seen the black wall on the CVO but is Harley cheap for doing this or coorect?

Personally, ah went ta the blackwall when ah went to Michelin. Didn't care what was "cheap" or correct - ah wanted traction and control, an' wanted to give 'em a try. 1,000 miles so far, an' ah'm happy with 'em.

Went with blackwalls and the Thunderstar mirror chrome rims myself. I'm happy with the results. Don't have a decent picture yet. Too busy riding.

I am saying no to WW's when my first set of tires wears out. If I was buying CW's there would be no WW's for me. The are fugly.

My vote on chrome wheels would be going with blackwalls.

My vote would be Wide White Walls. I love the way it brightens everything up.

TR, where do you find the Michelin tires and how do they compare with the Dunlaps in price?

Go with a set of 18" chrome forged and Metzelers (black). Forget about HD wheels[:'(].

That dbcooper has got one sweet ride! Anyhoo, once I went to the nine spoke wheels from my laced, I lost the ww and went with the black. I had the nine spokes chromed at chromeprosplating in Corpus, TX for $550 for both. They did a great job and I couldn't be happier. Plus, not cleaning spokes, or white walls is a great relief. Got me a blower, and I'm a wash and dry and fly guy! Good luck, CCRyder
