Okay, so just when I thought I decided on some slip ons (Screamin' Eagle) for my 07 ECG my dealer who I know and trust said I probably wouldn't be happy with the sound said I should get the SuperTrapp SE Slip ons for my bike. I don't plan to do any other mods to the bike, fuel managment or AC. Will my EGC run to lein with this set up or be okay if I am just doing the SE Slip ons?

Slip ons only and you should be good to go.

 

I put just slipons on my 08RK. Sound good. No othermods required.

 

great! now I just need to pick out some endcaps! A LOT of choices. I really like the turndowns for that old school look but I am afraid I will scratch them up everytime I park my bike by a curb?..

 

SupeTrapp Is a go product, should be ok ifrest of the bike stock. Most superTrapps have disc for turning more disc loader and leaner, do pulg checks so you get bike runing and sounding the way you want.

 

After putting on the pipes, if you get a lot of decel popping, then you'll probably want to retune your ECM. Check your plugs also. The 07 is already set to run lean from the factory to meet EPA guidelines, and performance pipes will only worsen that, so if I were in your shoes, I'd get a ECM controller also, but that's up to you.
