Zumo vibration solved - pics of install
Not liking the RAM arm mount that is included with the zumo, for the last couple weeks have been making my own mounting system to put it front and center in my fairing. I made a couple test runs yesterday and the vibration was too much. But today I made and added a “tension bracket” that made all the difference – took it out tonight and it’s nice and smooth - even at idle. Here’s descriptions of the photos
It turned out just like I wanted it too and really hugs the center pouch – so much so that I can’t even close the flap! So just tucked it inside for right now until I decide if I want to split it or what. Here's some photos......

let's try this again.....
1 the spacer that fills in the gap where the inner fairing dips down lower in front
2 the bracket for the zumo cradle made from an old speaker wall mount
2 “Tension bracket” that goes inside the first one and keeps them from vibrating.

OK here's some more:
3 one of two bottom brackets that also match both levels of the inner fairing
4 looking at the bottom with the 4 bolts sandwiching everything together – it’s solid!
5 the cradle mounted to the bracket
