Hell, I gotta get up there atleast once or twice!
I guess I'm lucky. My wife likes speed. On my 09 Concours she starts to giggle when we go above 130, at 100 it's just cruising along. Haven't had it ***** to the wall yet. It'll happen eventually but I'll be riding solo when I do it.

Living in the middle of nowhere has it's benefits. No cars, no wildlife and no leos and roads as straight as an arrow for as far as you can see without any cross traffic.

The 07 Ultra I've ridden didn't mind a steady 90, but pushing above that it seemed to be a bit reluctant.

Default Something u might try...

Has anyone tried a larger Throttle Body on their f.i. 96"'s? I figured with mods this should help with Top Speed. Just guessing. It's fun to stretch it out every now and then

I noticed you are little slow replying to this thread, add a little memory and replace the dial up connection.

Rode my RG home from Daytona Sat night and ran 100 mph several miles. Still had good throttle response and a lot of throttle left. I was 2 up w my wife on board. Bike felt solid as a rock. Must have something to do with that ugly assed fairing. Plus my bike IS black.

The TC 96 needs over 10,000 miles on the odo to achieve it's top speed. The Fi2000r with low restriction intake and exhaust should get you over 115.

Add water/methanol injection and you'll get 125.

I also do not ride that fast very often, I have 8,000 miles on my bike and have been that fastonly 4 or 5 times. If you feel the need to lecture someone please become a preacher. You don't know the situation I ride under and I am old enough that I don't have to answer to my own mommy and daddy anymore so you can guess how much weight your tsk, tsk has with me. I have spent a good portion of my life racing, not just motorcycles but almost anything with a motor and do so with as much safety as possible. You know, it just may be that I am amore saferider at 110 or120 MPH than you are at 80 or 90. Like I said, I'vespent much of my life at high speed and am not one of those who wets themselves when the speedo passes 45 [8D]. I know that going fast is dangerous, but so is crossing the street or riding at all for that matter. How fast is sensible and who gets to decide? I thought riding a Harley was about freedom not domination but......
Chill out and take you own medicine by not preaching as well.

My 88 with andrews 26 cams, SE pro tuner, slip ons and stage one intake will do better then 117. I was in fourth up past 100 mph and had not yet hit the rev limiter. 5th gear and the pull slowed down but it still climbed slowly. Now this was by the speedo and not GPS. I bet GPS indicated speed was just over 100 to about 105. I was going to mount up my GPS for kicks but it got ripped off out of my big truck.

I could care a less if you were a formula 1 road racer and have had 30 world championships under your belt. On a freeway there is no reason to go that fast. I could really care about if you crash and kill yourself, as a matter of fact it may just be a matter of time. I just hope you survive if you run into one of my family members, so I could slowly take you apart over a matter of weeks... inflicting so much pain you beg me to kill you...

You’re a moron!
