Default Mounting a Garmin GXM 30 antenna

I presently havemy antenna mounted inside my fairing on top of the radio. Works great. However, I have another bike that I like to use the GPS on.

I have a 3 pocket pouch that gets in the way on the inside of the fairing.

Anyone have a good mounting solution that is easy to remove for the antenna on an Electra Glide?

The GXM-30 comes with a cord extension.....connect this extension to the Zumo and run it back to your tourpak.....connect antenna there and you can remove it easily

Cycle Gadgets has a mounting plate that mounts to the back of the GPS Mounting Bracket. Just like having it mounted to the radio but available to move between vehicles. http://www.cyclegadgets.com/Products...sp?prod=SP2730
The one is the fourth one down on the page and is for the 2730 but I think it will also work with the Zumo. Give Cycle Gadgets a call they are great to work with and it is always a positive experience.

+1 on Cyclegadgets

I have their mount and can move it from bike to bike to car....

I also cut the power wire and installed a waterproof connector so power is easy too....

Thanks guys. I have that mounting plate already. It works great for my other bike, but with the RAM mount on my handlebar it's too bulky with the 2730. There is not enough room with my windshield bags. It would fit if they were not there. I'm going to mount another RAM ball mount and arm for the antenna and see how that works out.
