On a 2008 Ultra when the ignition is first turned on the speedometer and tachometer "sweep" to their maximum reading and then back to zero. This just started yesterday after many hours in the rain. Everything seems to be working as normal on the bike, but I am sure this is sign for something. Any ideas?

 

Seems like there may be a short in the odometer button...when the odometer button is pushed and held andthe ignition to "ON" the bike goes into diagnostic mode.
