I do want to plug it in and see what the AFR map looks like. I'm interested to see if it leans out up there. The truth though is, except for a couple times a year when we get together without the other halves, I just don't run it up that high anymore. 90+% of the riding I do now is touring with the wife. Could it run further out? We all know it could...with some additional changes, but the $$ just ins't there for that. The upside is, based on what I told the tuner about our riding style and where I wanted/needed more power, his recommendations put it all right where I live in real time riding. I don't ride around at 5k rpm. Some guys might so that upper end would be more important to them than it is to me. Guess I'm just getting old, lol.

Default Dyno Numbers for Baggers

You're absolutely right, tune it for the way you ride, and 90% of Harley riding is between 2000-3000 RPM. I like the fact that my bike pulls like a freight train, but I'm not riding around at 5000 RPM. In fact, Harley's are pretty weird, under 2000 RPM you're lugging, over 3000 RPM and the engine is sucking gas like a $20 hooker. With casual riding, and no hot *******, I get around 38-39 MPG. Long trips, 6th gear, 70 MPH, I can get up to 50 MPG, and that's with a full Stage IV race kit. I think the most "bang for the buck" is a Stage I upgrade and cams...that's all most people would ever need...the rest is all braggin' rights....

but burying your buddies $42,000 110 CVO with just a set of cams in my 103 was worth every penny!! told him my next purchase was gonna be a 110 crate motor... im gonna strap it to my luggage rack, maybe the weight would slow me down enuf so he could catch up....we all got a chuckle out of it

You own a recent Harley? You can afford a hooker!
