Can the Jackpot headpipe be used with the factory mufflers?

I've searched for a while to find the air flow requirements for Harley engines in various stages of tune, but can't find anything. CFM at WOT stock, stage 1, stage 2...

Does anyone know the numbers, or a place to gather that information?

You won't find that sort of data from any official H-D source, so we're dependent on a tuning shop or similar doing the hard work of measuring it. I doubt if they are going to publish it in a public place!

Why would you like to know?!

I suspect that you won't find anything like that.. Closest you are going to get is something like these..

http://www.widman.biz/English/Calculators/CFM.html

http://www.ajdesigner.com/phpengine/..._flow_rate.php

The problem is that there is typically a minimum requirement to allow the motor to make HP but the max flow can be up there for more performance. Also it depends on how the stages are defined.. In most cases, stages require a certain head so I guess you could simply measure the air flow of the head can call that a requirement..

So if I am reading and comparing things correctly, it looks like a Stage 1 on a Rushmore 103 delivers you to the same neighborhood as a Stage 1 M8?

Looks so... but I think on the M8 you're at 100 torque at 3k?

Incorrect, FM is developing a new Head pipe specifically for the all new M8 engine.

I realize that. I saw the new charts for the M8 and pasted those.
I thought I remembered seeing similar #s for the Rushmore 103 on the fuelmoto website. I looked there and it appears the #s are very similar. It would be nice to see the stage 1 Dynos for the Rushmore and M8 on the same chart.
