74 hp is still a stock tune, I guarantee it. I was at 80hp on my dyno tuned TC88.

Doesn't matter what your bike showed on that particular dyno. He got a 10hp and over 20ft/lb gain on his bike on that dyno. That's good for a stage 1 tune. Chasing numbers from one dyno to the next is pointless.

First it's NOT a Stage 1, he states "tuner" and "dyno" which means dyno tuned. Second it's a 103 and should be significantly higher regardless. If his tuner tells him the dyno tends to read low, VERY LOW, fine.

A 96 with intake/exhaust and no-tune could pull numbers close to that.

don't want to get into an internet pissing match but.... pipe, ac and a tuner or hd download is generaly considered a stage 1. with or without dyno tuning.

a 103 will typically see very similar hp numbers to a 96 if they are the same configuration. the 103 will usually see slightly higher tq numbers. i agree the fellows hp numbers are on the low side but a 10 hp gain is very typical for a stage 1 and 20 ft/lbs is above average.

2011 FLHX

SE A/C, Vance & Hines Dresser Duals, Rineharts, SERT.

77.66 HP
92.53 TQ

Very happy with this set up and the way the bike responds.

Stage 1 download from Harley or a Stage 1 as in I/E/T? A dyno tune makes a big difference. 10hp with a dyno tune, intake and pipes sucks. I should dyno my bike, now I'm really curious.

At the dealership I used in the past a stage one did not include a dyno tune. You got a download. If it then needed a dyno that was 699 extra! Just my .02

That's why I'm using my old fuelpak with a V&H map. $300 for a PC or $300+ for SERT tuner plus $375 dyno time for maybe a couple more hp ain't worth it to me.

I think that is RIDICULOUS. My dealership includes the first dyno tune session with the purchase of a Screaming Eagle tuner. And for the "nay-sayers", I watched mine get tuned and they provided the print out.
