If you could ask your wrench I would appreciate it!

Thanks

Zephyrs. They are a race parts supplier. He wasn't positive but he didn't think they sold to individuals, only dealers but give it a try. He gets around $70 got them.

That's a fun bike to ride! I have those numbers with 95ci and it's a blast! Wolf in sheepskin clothing.

Thumbs up Better A/C

Check Zipper's website. They have the A/C with the thicker element that you're thinking of (turned a 113/109 on my '07 Softail). Matching it with a Kury 57mm intake w/ high flow injectors will really wake things up.

Kury makes a good A/C as well, that has an added surface of filter material on the face of the element (same thicknes as the SE unit).
I keep one each of the above on hand.

Build may not have the big #s of some other builds but that steep power band from 2400 - 3000 rpm is unbelievable. Rolling burn out at 30 mph is no problem, 0-65 is waaaay quick.
30 mph burnout? Impressive! I lined up against a ford lightening last night. He wont do it again!

Okay, should have worded that better than burn out, but it can squeel the tire and break it loose, actually scared the hell outta me when I did it. Granted my rear tire is close to bald though.

Oh it can happen. I've seen it happen. Heritage soft tail with a 127 with 145hp and 140tq.

Question How to keep that Torque Curve above 100 from 3000 to 6000 ?

Couldnt be happier, may not have the big #s as other builds but with that steep powerband it's all useable.
W/ 2nd and 3rd gear wheel-spin, 6000 miles and my tire's a SLICK. -I was looking with great interest at Murphy's torque curve that coolerman69 referred to in his quote. Very impressive. I'm wondering what the difference is between his build and mine that keeps my torque smoother & more gradual, and above 100 Ft. Lbs for most of the RPM range. I'll attach it. My wrench said that the 57 mm Kury intake w/ the High flow injectors was the "BIG" difference". Also the TTS, but you have that also. I'm unfamiliar with the 48 cams, never ran them. This motor has Andrews Tw55's, and the builder (Sachs) had a hand in designing their profile. They're his heads too (I bet the 55's would do great as bolt-in cams w/ the newer TC heads). I know he uses both the Road Rage and the D&D Fat Cat exhaust and said they were "Key" (D&D is what I'm running). Would a divorce be in your future if you slapped on a larger intake and ran ONE more Dyno? I think you're right on the edge of a monster here, and am dying to see you go one more notch. That's the thing about building motors, it's hard to stop. My last build included 4 sets of mufflers, 3 header sets, 3 sets of cams, several head configurations, and 2 intakes before it was "just right". -At least I have enough inventory to do the NEXT motor! Yea, she moved out 4 years & 3 builds ago . . .
