for numgers that big you had to split the case on a 06 and earlier bike. the new bikes with the 4.375 stroke has some big bolt on kits

I'm certainly not an expert on reading dyno charts but I really don't know how you can beat a nice, flat torque curve like your bike produces? Certainly not a narrow torque band. Bet it's fun huh

IMHO, you over cammed a stock 96" by using a cam with an intake close of 40* ABDC. Where's the TQ under 3000 rpms for a 850 lb touring bike, ridden with a passenger, gear and probably ridden mostly under 70 mph cruising winding back country roads! A cam like the Andrews TW48H with an intake close of 29* would have produce more low-mid rpm TQ.

850 lb bike + 200 lb rider + 120 passenger = 1200 lbs or more. You really need all the 2000 - 3000 rpm TQ you can get, especially in a stock 96" bike with its tall gearing of 2.85.

Well it sure doesn't feel like you describe lol and if ya look at the chart it's doing just fine below 3000. My riding is mostly 2 up and lotsa long distance over mountain passes. Talked to Bob Wood and he suggested this cam as the ultimate bagger torque cam and imo he was right. FYI, the 5-6 is 37 ABDC, the very popular SE 255 is 25 ABDC, the very popular woods 6-6 is 40 ABDC and the stock cam is 30 ABDC. Thanks for comin out tho

ya I'm really happy with it, did a lot of research on cams for a stock 96 and it paid off!

Default low end torque

With 110 lbs at 2500 this is by far the best 211 cam results I have ever seen. Most tell me the 211 is not for bagger use because no lower end torque but this shows me. I know it is no sae but still should be close. The 211s with a propipe should really sound awesome. I had that combo on my last bike (05 heritage 95in). Thanks for the info. Allyn
