Woods directional lifters are installed and so far so good , much quieter . Going to bike fest at the lake this weekend so i will see how it does with some steady riding.

Can you remind me of the cam your using with the new lifters? Did you get the bike tuned after installing the new lifters or are you running the same map that was already in the bike?

I have the W7H cams and it is quiet . The Woods directional lifter did the trick.

Did you get a tune after the new lifters were installed? If so, can you post the dyno? Thanks for all the info on the Woods lifters as I'm considering having them installed as well.

No I did not get a new tune, No need. the lifters were 260.00 and well worth it. This is my original dyno

Bought a used 2010 with the SE 103 kit part #27513-08a already installed. Kit used 251 cams, ported stock heads, ac, thunderheader 2-1, and supertuner. Dyno came out at 95.37hp and 105.37tq. I think there's more there but I"m not going to chase numbers for the time being. Bike is running good so I"m satisfied, especially since previous owner was the one who had to pay for install

We have installed the Wood's Directional lifters in quite a few motors, they work excellent and quiet the valvetrain noticably.

Thanks for the feedback. Did you do any before and after dyno recording with the lifter install? I wouldn't expect there to be any differences. I assume the fuel map won't really be changed due to the Woods lifter.

That being said, it seems reasonable that if the valvetrain is quieter that there should be more precise opening and closing of the valves which should result in at least some improved performance. OR is the improvement so modest it would never show up as a difference between a before and after dyno run?
