Default 2010 SEUC 110" dyno

Here's the dyno for my bone stock 2010 SEUC 110" engine. Its currently undergoing an engine upgrade that I'm posting more details about in a separate thread under touring bikes. 77hp/100tq

I couldn't agree more.....unfortunately the government bureaucrats are killing these HD motors from the factory with the catalytic converters, mufflers designed to make it sound like a jap cruiser and a cam and head design that's better suited for a lawn mower than a motorcycle.

All that is about to get corrected.

I got a set of Andrews 26G cams and gear drive set, along with a set of S/E easy install pushrods coming soon. Looking forward to getting them installed, tuned and dynoed.

Default '09 Butt-Dyno issues...

Hey all,

My bike's a 2009 EG Police with the 103" from the factory. FuelMoto loaded a map for my PC-V, and also sent the SE plate/K&N filter and a set of Rush slip-ons. My "butt dyno" didn't quite prove out the level of upgrade, tho; I remember my '05 "came to life" after the same treatment--not here. Butt-Dyno says just a few ponies and pounds, not 10 or 12 or 15% like I expected (and got before).

I compared my map as shipped to both M015-023 (103" w/ pipes, A/C, and cams) and -030 (a TriGlide, which also has the 103", w/ V&H s/o's and an airbox).

-030: my map is, on average, 7-8% leaner overall; max differences are from -16 to +2.
-023: my map is, on average, 15% leaner overall; max differences are -4 to (wow) +40%!

Q1: which of the above would you go with, given my setup and the explanation of what the maps are? Do you see a better one for an '09 Police 103" than these two with my mods?

Q2: I can NOT get Rev X-Tend to work; in several downloads where I attempt to "enable" it, the subsequent ride still hits the rev limiter at 5,500. (The needle isn't just stopping--the bike stops winding, too.) When I go home tonight, I'm going to actually read the RPM from the PC software both with and without RevXtend enabled, and make sure I'm not nuts. (Already reloaded firmware,... so if anyone has any tricks, fire away!!!)

Thanks!
Liquid

Ok, it's 2/3rds fixed; I did watch the PC-V readout as I revved the bike, and it's going over 6k despite the tach stopping at 5,500; I guess the tach on the bike just scales the RPMs, and now I'm off 13% (5,500/6,200)?

Regarding fuel, I went ahead and loaded up the -030 map from a TriGlide with pipes and an A/C. I went over the two maps cell by cell, and it's basically just a richer map than what I got. I even reviewed map -025, which is for a stock TriGlide, and EVEN IT is richer than mine! I'll have to get back with FuelMoto--I like the results much better now!

Still, if anyone knows any fix for the tach, do tell... it'd be cool to have the actual RPM show.

Just installed a set of CFR's and K&N backplate and filter on a previously bone stock 09 Street Glide. 72 Hp 86 TQ. Seat of the pants says I picked up a good bit especially on the top end. Sounds bad *** to boot.
