Default Rear Tire Noise...

Outand about enjoying the day on my 07 RG when about an hour into the ride I begin hearing a noise
coming from the rear. I shut off the Ipod and hear a wobble noise getting louder and louder. First
thoughts were I was getting a flat tire, that would have been a bitch, anxiously pull over only to find the tire was fine.Good news.Checked the tire to see if was rubbing against something, again all was well.
Back in the saddle I continued on, still hearing the noise, put the tunes up louder. Will bring the bike in next week to be looked at.
Any thoughts on what it might be would be appreciated..

1ST I dont know about playing the Ipod louder will help the noise ?
Did you try putting up on jack stand and spining the wheel ? Belt might need to be adjusted ? might be rubbing on rear gaurd or wheel bearing ? or rear brake need to be checked ? I wouldnt let it go too long

I would pull the wheel and check the bearings, IDS if you have it, belt, brake pads. Let us know how it turns out and hopefully it will be something easy.

Sounds like a wheel bearing, keep us posted.
