RE: Oldest age riding a bagger?
67 here. Started riding at 12. First on a cushman Eagle. Then to an old Indian Scout. Next was a 48 panhead 74, bored it to 80" threw the front fender away, bobbed the back fender, put on homemade ape hangers and suicide clutch. Lots of bikes in between. Wish I had them all back. Bought a 07 FLHTC on my 65th birthday, now have almost 14000 miles on it. Wife is 68 and still rides with me. She had her own bike until a couple of years ago and started to feel uncomfortable. So she rides with me now. Planning a couple of long rides this summer. Had an Uncle who got me started and he rode until he was in his middle 80"s. Hope I am able to do the same. Ride safe brothers.

I am 52 and still actively riding and riding long distance. Been riding since I was 14-15 or so I forget. While 52 is not old it is old enough to be spooked a little by all the concerns and consequence of interstate driving, especially as it winds its way through large metro cities. I stay at about 60mph and in the right lane. And having a sidecar rig now creates other issues. It is my hearts desire to resumed where me and my wife left offbefore we started raising our children. We stopped riding together long distance during that time. I kept riding everyday and long distance when I could. This last 3 wheeled trip we just came back from was hairy. While I have over 30 years riding experience I only have about 3-4000 miles and less then a year sidecar experience. I hope my skill and my nerves improve with each long distance ride.

70 and recently bought my 07 RK Custom. Plan on riding it until I am 82 and then hanging it up or buying a new HD if I'm still feeling good. I have kept several Harleys for 12 years, seems lucky. I plan on riding from Texas to the Arctic Circle in Alaska and back next year with my son. Will be riding the Rockies this summer. Been riding since my teens but owning Harleys only for thirty plus years.
