Default another inner fairing question about painting

I really like the looks of a painted inner fairingand I have seen lots of picture here with different colors. This is something I wanna do next winter. Only thing is I haven't seen any black bikes with a painted inner, has anyone got any pictures ?

I've been thinking of doing this also and was wondering if anyone who has done it has had problems with the sun glaring off the gloss paint and distracting them. Any input?

Quit thinking about it and just do it!!! In fact....my brother currently has an inner fairing with fairing mirrors for sale. Your best bet it to buy a spare, have the paint done, and then you only have about 3-5 hours of total downtime. Other wise...you have to remover yours, send it out to your painter, and wait. If your intrested....its for sale here on the forums at: https://www.hdforums.com/m_3397594/tm.htm

OH YEAH....don't worry about sunglare....it happens OCCASIONALLY...but not enough to worry about.

I just got my back last Friday and it is great. Very nice option, looks great and it should not fade like my last bike inner fairing did. I wish I would have done it on my last bike. I will be back in a couple of days and see if I can learn how to post a picture.

I've read here of guys getting them painted for as little as $100. I had a friend paint mine and the paint alone cost me $175.
It's a fun job to take off and on, and with the service manual is easily done.
