When you say fascia , do you mean the trim that goes on the bottom of the rear fender and up the sides between the bags ? I have one and two dealers in England claim the fittings for the Street Glide are not available to attach it to any other tourer

Yes, I used the 3m fender tape twice now. I got it at NAPA, clean the pieces well before, don't touch the pieces after cleaning, if you do, clean them again with alcohol. The fascia stayed tightly stuck to the fender until it was pried off for paint this spring. It went back on with more fender tape and is stuck fast now. It will hold and it won't rust like drilled holes will. All your car fenders and bumpers are held on with this tape, certainly a 7 ounce part will stay stuck with that tape.
