Can two into two if thats the right phrase be put on a Road King.Like a Heritage or is there major reasons for right and left side mufflers.

Most people put 2 into 1 exhaust on for performance gains. Two mufflers is traditional, and can be tuned for great performance. It is personal preference.

I'm looking at buying a Road King in the near future I hope.I like a traditional look.I'd like a Road King that looks more on the Heritage Classic lines and ball parking cost, look etc. What does a Glide look like with out a fairing? Is that a simple make over or takes a lot to get done.Any suggestions?

Sounds like your looking for a Road King classic, with the leather bags and windshield. Then just change the exhaust to V&H longshots for bagers or other 2 into 2 exaust that are made. As far as cost, you can pick them up for around the same price new or used. Your choice. A glide without a fairing is a Road King. There basically the same bike. You can add a detachable fairing to a Road King later if you choose. Enjoy the ride, you only go around once.

As far as new or used Road Kings.Any year models to avoid? Any years more sought after or less issues? Are there 'other'leather bags that work good and and have a more retro look. The leather Road King bags look like the hard bags(to me)unless your right up on them.

Check with some of the better after market bag makers:
Iron Bags, Boss Bags, Leatherneck Jim, American Eagle, Osprey, and there are a few more that slip my mind at the moment.
