Custom Auxillary Lighting Kit installation. PICS ADDED!

RE: Custom Auxillary Lighting Kit installation. Any tips?
Instead of cutting a slot in a socket, I cut a slot in a 9/16 offset boxed end wrench. Works good. I couldn't find a line wrench with enough offset. Seems to me if you use a socket, the turn signals would have to be removed to have enough room for the socket and rachet.

Howard, I'll shoot some more pics here shortly and post them.
SG1, good points, actually I just loosened the turn signals, slightly turned them out of the way, covered them with a sock and put the small 9/16 socken on the bolt.
I'll take a pic of what I used.
Thanks guys for the compliments.

Put the adapter in the socket, turn socket and adapter with 1/4" wrench in small increments till tight. Worked like a charm.

A StreetGlide will be a little more involved. My wiring harness on my Ultra already had a plug for both left and right aux.lights and turn signalsunder my fairing where the previouslight bar w/aux. lights and turn signals plugged into so it was only a matter of putting the new light kit together and bolting it up, short of the minimal splicing I did. Still an easy mod either way and one well worth it in the aesthics IMO.
I would venture to say that SG owners would have to take the ignition lower fairing cap off and run awire to the Aux. switch there if I'm not mistaken.

Is this a hard install? I am thinking of making this my next mod and do not want to be over my head.

The reason I ask is: I am putting in (Passing Lamps) HID 35 watts on a few bikes using Adjure buckets & lens (lamps). I bought a pair of 3" & a pair of 4 1/2" last week but waiting for delivery. Your turn signals look much better than the stock ones also. We are making a new wiring harness to fit into the bucket but I do not think I will be able to put it through the stem but who knows. The igniter will be in the bucket but the pair of ballasts will be located in the nacelle (along with the original ballast (Headlight also HID).
When you get older you need more light especially in the country/rural areas. I am going to put them on my friends 1967 FL first. Getting rid of the bar cough my eye. These bikes have a problem with the fender crushing against the headlight bar, unlike your bike. Here is a few photos of the 66 Pan/Shovel. Your bike looks much better than stock by a long shot.
The second photo is after I installed disk brakes on the bike.
