I was dreading this project in the beginning and certainly approached it with reservations but it was a very easymod and many thanks to the replies/assistance.
I took a hacksaw and cut a 3/8" groove out of a 9/16 socket and then took a file and smoothed the burrs. Worked like a charm. Again, thanks for this tip as well or I may NEVER have figured this one out.[&:]

Is this a hard install? I am thinking of making this my next mod and do not want to be over my head.

I would venture to say that SG owners would have to take the ignition lower fairing cap off and run awire to the Aux. switch there if I'm not mistaken.

The SG kit comes with a "Spot" lamp switch that is installed in the fairing cap.
ftlee: Next time you are at the dealer, ask the parts guy to print out the installation instructions for the SG kit and take a look at the directions and parts--it's a very doable DIY project.

Carl
I have a copy on the install instructions on my desktop and could attempt to e-mail them to you or ftlee if you'd like?
I tried to upload the instructions here, but .pdf is not supported in the upload feature.
Thanks RKKY for the compliment.

UltraKla$$ic, Looking Sharp there!
Ftlee20723 , It's a pretty straight forward install, All the tips above are very noteworthy for sure. If I might add $.02, Make sure you to also note that your Hi-Beam switch is off too, or else you'll be sitting there (like me) a bit troubleshooting more then neccesary.
