No problem there. I go thru rear pads like wildfire. I just replaced mine again in the motel parking lot at Myrtle last week. I can do those in about 5 minutes.

You think that was fun wait till you try to do the rears without pulling the wheel!

I was speaking in terms of someone that thinks the fronts were a PITA!

"Yeah I can do them in less than 5 minutes also thanks to all the practice I get due to guys like you that forget the front brake IS THE MAIN brake on a bike!

Actually, I don't fit into that mold. I know exactly what brake is the main brake. I go thru brakes due to riding my rear brake alot doing tight turns practicing my slow maneuver skills that I learned in the HD Motor School.....Yeah, I know that "the gray area" of the clutchis the proper technique. However, I sometimes find it easier to do my controlling by feathering the rear brake. At any rate, I know it is easier on my clutch. I have 70k on my original plates. I figure I can swap brake pads easier than clutch plates...........Now on my work bike, it's another matter. I don't mind abusing the clutch in it. Repairs are on somebody else's dime.

The real PITA isn't changing the pads although I will admit that they are a little aggrivating but the real pain is changing the brake rotors. I will be doing that this afternoon.[sm=biker2.gif]

I figure the fronts are way easier, but next time I do those I'm not going to remove the wheel. If you can do the rears without removing the wheel, why remove the front?
