Default EBAY lowering kit

Anyone out there use the lowering kit advertised on EBAY, just wondering if it is a quality product and are there any safety issues I should worry about?

Just the probability of your tire bottoming out on the fender.

I used this one and it is a very well put together item

Lowering kit

The only reason I picked this one is that it was a mid priced one, I know I will never use the 3 inch setting

I have one on the lower setting that is suppose to be 2 1/4in. With my short legs, I am almost flatfooted on the ground. I run an extra 10lbs of air when riding two up and it will only rub on really bad bumps. The quality of the block appears very good to me.

Mine is at its lowest setting 2 1/4"......I'm 210#....rarely bottom out, took my 20 yo daughter for a ride the other day, lightly bottomed out 1 time...and that was without increasing shock pressure prior to our ride.....I think its very strong and sturdy setup.....

Which ones? I recently purchased the Road 6 customs lowering kit off e-bay. Its powdercoated to match the frame, brackets feel nice and heavy, and grade 8 bolts. Installation was straight forward. I weigh in at about 220 and don't have any problem rubbing my tire with the 1 1/4" drop. Its amazing how much quicker the bike responds with just a 1" drop. Can't beat the price either, $55 shipped...Oh yeah I did have to drill out the powder coat in one hole in each bracket, the instructions said you might. No biggie.

Go for it man we all know that those ebay companys spend millions more on R and D than Harley does.
And after they do they can not wait to sell you their higher quialty product below cost.
while your at it stop by walmart and order some tires for your bike so when it buttoms out and screws them up you can tellus what a great deal you got on them tires.
