In the past three years I have put 12K miles in 5 weeks worth of vacations on a Mustang seat mounted to a 98 Heritage. Just put one on my 08 Ultra last night. Time will tell, but initial results are looking good.

Seats are like exhaust, everybody likes something differant. Best thing to do is some good exstensive research and hit the local scenes to see what other people are using have done. Personally I like the looks of stock seats and shaping them to fit but hey that is what I do so I may be biased I just don't understand the after market concept of how a one size fits all seat is supposed to work on every person when we all come in different sizes and shapes.

I just bought a dual touring for the 07 RK. Very comfortable. It has the driver backrest too. I had to take it right off as I am having $$$ problems. I work for myself and times are hard. It is for sale in the classifieds here on this site. I am totally bummed I have to sell it.

I went with a Danny Gray Big Seat with Backrest, and love it. My plan is to send the stock seat to Mean City Cycles to get my stock modified so when the wife wants to go for a ride she will have somthing more comfortable. And as Trock pointed out, it only takes a minute to switch. And I am not sure it isany easier to "just" attach the P-pad.

I have a Corbin Hollywood Sole on my 2008 Street Glide. If I need a back seat I just slap on a "lick-em-and-stick-em".
That way they really don't want to go many places.
