I can't say what they're like firsthand for touring duals. But I did have them in my V & H Big Shot Staggered pipes on my Low Rider and they had a fantastic sound. Never had it on a dyno, but I could feel the low end torque loss that came with the install of those pipes was reduced by the BCT baffles. I think you'll be happy.........especially if loud is what you're after!

they're a way of getting back some of the low/mid range that's lost when running an "open" (unbaffled pipe) while still keeping the sound. http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/exhaust.htm
from what I've seen basicly the same product. I have never run the big city thunder baffles but I have welded many a washer to bolt over the years and it is a good compromise. Like 05LowRider said, if loud is what you're after you'll be happy with them

When you put the Big City Thunder baffles in and take the other baffles out I think it would make most pipes sounnd the same. If I could do it all over again I would have bought a cheaper set of pipes and done the same with the BCT's! BCT's freakin rule!!!
