I have one from Autozone, with the little "Coil" at the bottom. Works at least as good as the whip did....

I have the Freedom Cycles antennas on my scoot. I like them, especially the clean look when installed. The FM antenna works better IMO than the stock whip. Several months ago there was a thread concerning short antennas and most agreed that the Freedom antennas were better than stock for FM. I havn't used the CB antenna, but others say it works well. Here is a pic of my scoot with the Freedom antennas installed.
Here is the thread-->Short Antennas

Autozone. I bought 2 short antenna's for about $20.00 I never used the CB on my Ultra, but the radio was crystal clear. Frankly the Freedom brand is way over priced at nearly $100.00 Cutting your whip antenna's down would work just as well.

I use the one from Auto Zone. I am very happy with antenna so far. The cheapest item I bought for the Harley so far. LOL. Bob.

Cut both of my stock ones in half. I never use the CB and can't tell that I lost much with the radio. But then again, I listen to XM most of the time.

Cutting the stock one down works fine. I have a detachable tour pack. I bought an extra stock antenna, loosened the allen screw to remove it from the lower spring, cut it down to about 12-14". I have no reception difference between the long whip on the tour pack or the cut shorty when my pack is off. I think a new stock one is about $20 at your dealer....

I cut both mine about 8" to fit under my garage door, actually get better reception on my CB. Both radio and weather work fine. Also pick up the same AM talk station (WSB AM) a hundred miles away as I have been.
