Default 2007 Cam Chain Tensioners

I've read a lot about cam chain tensioner problems after 20,000 to 30,000 miles. Does this problem exist for 2007 models? I have a 2007 RK Classic.

No, '07 uses the new and improved system.

Pulled my engine down at 12,000 miles to do the 120, put the origianl tensioners back in, no wear whatsoever. I think they may have the problem licked.

My co-workers brother had a failure on his 07 EG, at just over 18,000 if I remember right, and went to a gear driven system, but I don't believe it to be verycommon.
