Default Securing an XM radio (Roady XT)

Looking for something, other than rubber bands, to secure my Roady XT to the cradle and keep it from hopping out and rolling down the road. I am using a RAM mount. I'd like to find something thin as to not cover any of the buttons. Any suggestions???

There's a forum member that makes brackets for these things...Ipod, XM and such.
Can't recall his member ID.
Maybe someone will chime in with it.

VELCRO

Doesn't work. Tried it on my last scoot. Even the industrial strength stuff.

BadPiggy. Yeah that is Bobby. He makes several mounts but nothing to actually hold the Roady XT securly.

I have a Roady 2 and use the adhesive mount bracket that came with it. It has stuck to the dash firmly for over 2 years.

I bought HD's 2 leather dash mounted pouch style bags and placed my XM reciever in one bag and the antenna and wiring in the other. Buttons are accessed by lifting the velcro cover. I also bought the Aux cable to free up another wire. It plugs directly into my radio and you dont have to search for a fm station, just scroll to aux/mp3, better sound too. The power cord was my delima, Ibought a HD 12Vfemale plug with a water resistant "bar and shield" rubber cap, drilled a hole and mounted it in the dash on the upper left. Looks factory AND I dont have to worry about a dent in the tank from the male 12V cord being so low on the left side..also no obstructions with wires criss crossing the guages. I'll take some pics and post...I'll try for tomorrow.

Try these two places:

http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/page/L/PROD/PHONE/EC-Ch

http://www.techmounts.com/

I bought the chrome base mount from Techmount and fabricated my own clip system for my GPS.

Wish you luck!
