Default Mustang seat

Does anyone know how much lowera Mustang Regal tour seat would be than the stock Road King (FLHR) seat. Would it be as much as an inch.

I had the Mustang Touring seat 75577 and it raised me up almost 1 inch higher on an 03 Road King. I opted not to use a Mustang seat on my 07 Ultra for that reason, went with the HD Sundowner and it is just as comfortable as the Mustang was with no height change.

I also have a FLHR with the stock seat and am looking for something better. I 'tried one on' at Daytona Bike Week at the Mustang stand, sat on it for about 5 seconds and told the guy to take it off...it felt like it put me about an inch higher and about 1 1/2 forward. Not what I'm looking for!!! Hope this helps..........Later

I've got the 1 piece touring seat from mustang. It sits higher and further forward. The jury is still out on long haul comfort.

I had the Mustang Regal Ultra touring seat on my 02 Ultra and then trnsfered it to my 06 RG. I love it...I bought a new Smooth Ultra tour seat for my RG about a month or so ago. I guess you can say that I vote in favor of it.

I had a regal on my FLHRS and did not like it, too high and forward. I bought a Mustang solo with pillion and it sits me at the same height as stock and a little further back, much better than stock and worlds better than the regal.

I've got the same seat on my FLHRCI. I was within a few days of cutting my windshield down but the seat put me in the perfect position as far as windshield height. It does raise you up, I have adjusted to it with no problems.

As far as the long haul comfort, I'm pleased. Had it on for about 48,000 miles now. It took a few hundred miles to break in or kinda take to the shape of my butt but since then it's been very comfortable. Commuting, day rides or my Iron Butt Ride last year, the seat is great.
