You can count me as another who likes to use a tankbag on trips. Mine has never marred the paint, it has a plush fleece underside and powerful ceramic magnets inside. And I could give a rats @ss what people think about the looks. If I worried about looks, I'd have plastic surgery.

A windshield bag WONT hold 2 bottles of Gatorade, a bottle of water, 3 lbs of beef jerky, wallet, keys, a dozen power bars, cell phone, camera, extra glasses, a .380, maps, and still have room for more!

I think a tank bag would look awful on any Harley. I'd look into a windhsield pouch to carry this stuff.
