Street Glide Windshiled - Thoughts from all
I've been riding into work lately and the mornings have been a wee bit chilly so I'm thinkin of getting a bigger shield. The 4" stock one is ok, but I'm looking for a little more without getting a giant wall on the front.
Have any of you used a 7-8" windshield? Any buffeting. Other size suggestions?
PS - I'm 5'11' if that helps with the suggestions.
Thanks!!

I'm 5'11 too. I really like the stock windshield. I wanted a batwing and stereo but still wanted wind hitting my face. I do a lot of night riding in the mountains coming home from work. If I get a little chilly I just pull my neck warmer over my face a little

Picked up a cool but spendy ($169.00) windshield from Klockwerks at the Laughlin Run. Works great -taller than a stock Streetglide andyou can hear your stereo at 80. There is less wind behind itat speed and your headrag will stay put without velcro and duct tape.No standard windshield has this ability, no matter how tall it is. The site address is kustomcycles.com and they offer these for Roadglides as well as Electraglides. Check it out.

I cut the stock windshield down to about 8"- 9" height and also have the SG windscreen. Use them both depending on mood. The taller shield is better for long trips. The $30 batwing air deflectors will help buffeting a LOT with the SG screen.
