I have the HD version. Looks good,it works, and it's cheap. Can't beat that.

These look great for stock headers and slip on's, but does anyone believe they would be of any help for 2-1 pipes like the Fatcat with the equal length headers where the rear header tends to get a bit warm. I've got a set of Kuryakin shields that are smoked and look like chrome almost when installed, still in the box and never installed that I will let go cheap. I need to go flat black if anything for my bike, so would consider the RJ or HD setup. Anyone with a 2-1 that has found these useful?

Mapman,
If you get the kuryaykin deflectors, make sure you get the ones for the '08 models. I bought the regular ones(pre '08) and they don't fit the '08s with the 6 gal tank. I found this out after trying to install them on my '08, then looking at their website to see what years they were for and saw the ones for the '08s now listed.

For those of you with '07s or newer that are interested, I still have them in my garage, send me a PM.

RJ's are great and were simple to put on. They are made in America and RJ had bends each heat shield. At least they aren't made in China.

Add another vote for RJ and he called me, too, for installation help when I needed it. Try getting Harley or Kuryakn to do that for you. And he is a sponsor here.
