For you guys that did the sweepers... Did you have to re-wire anything or use longer cables? I have a 10 with TBW(not sure how it works).. How will that affect anything?

Thanks
Brandon

On your 2010 you would need the 300515's for the bars. You would only need a clutch cable pn#38649-08. Nothing else is needed. The OE sensor worked fine for me.

I went with the +2 Khrome Werks sweeper, been very happy with them, has the right wrist angle for me.

On my 99 FLHT I use +6" throttle, idle, and clutch cables with the +2 sweepers. The bars are super comfortable and the price is decent.

Thanks Dawg and all for the feedback on the pullback. I think I got the pullback numbers in my chart from the Drag Specialties web site:

0601-0837 STYLE: Sweeper bars (dimpled), WIDTH: 34.07", CENTER WIDTH: 12.00", PULLBACK: 7.84", RISE: 10.83" - Cutom Bends $63.95

btw, when I spoke to the folks at Kromewerks, they said I would need a +3 in clutch cable, but that the wiring, brake and thottle lines should work without changing. Was that your experience. Also, the comments here have convinced me that the Sweepers +2 are the bars I am going to change to. Please let me know about the other cables, so that I can get them ordered.

I think I may have my dealer do the change.... was going to do it myself, but he will do for about 3 hrs labor (winter rate is $56). I'm also going to have him change my clutch spring, so he can set up the clutch properly at the same time... yep, I could do all this, but for $175, it's worth it to let him do it... especially when it's below zero here in MN.

All you will need is the longer clutch cable. All other cables will be long enough. I used a 4" longer clutch cable though.

I ended up going with the drag specialties +4 clutch cable from Dennis Kirk for a good price. Its the one 66 11/16ths long http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/tpl/pr...mmyId=16000009

Just like everyone else said, no other cables/wires necessary.

For those that drilled their Sweepers for internal wiring, where did you drill your holes and what was the diameter of the hole. I will be ordering mine soon and plan on doing the internal wiring as one of my winter mods. Thanks!

Truth be told, and I'm not trying to pat myself on the back, but the information from Khromewerks is directly from me. I spoke to them and emailed them about what was needed and pn#s, etc. They originally only listed the -98 pn# for the cable and I had to tell them that 07 used -07 pn# and 08 and later used -08 pn#. The info on their site is now correct with all that is needed for the change.

I will back up what Road Dawg said. Earlier this year I bought the sweepers and the part # they listed for the clutch cable which was the 98. Road Dawg let me know that they had the part number wrong and after he notified them they now have the right part # listed. I still used the 98 part number just because I had it all installed and buttoned up before RD notified me. Looks like the biggest difference is the amount of thread leading into the case.
