Glad to hear you had a good experience at a HD Dealer.
Dealers get alot of bashing on here it seems. A point to remember that my mom reminded me of all my life ... "you get more bees with honey than vinegar".
Being in sales myself, I can tell you that it is all about RELATIONSHIPS! I believe that it is important to develop a good relationship with your local dealer. This doesn't mean just bringing the bike in for service and complaining about all the HD issues. Buying accessories, talking to the service guys about upgrades and maybe even clothing. This will establish you as a good paying Customer. It will pay huge dividends when you do need their help.
I have developed a fantastic relationship with my local dealer and am very proud of the work they have done for me. Clitnon Harley in CLinton , Iowa has one of the best service departments I have ever dealt with. Their motor guy, Justin, is tops in my book. This guy is very good on building motors and dyno tuning.
Again, glad to hear the good news.

We are all VERY quick to slam a dealer that treats us poorly...I like it when someone takes the time to write about a positive dealer experience, not to mention that it's nice to reada 'happy ending'story once in a while. JMHO

Thanks Bigredone!

The two dealerships I deal with have both been very good. I bought my bike from KillerCreek in Alpharetta GA. Good dealer and good work.A little on the high side for service work. Frazier's HD in Buford GA has service prices that compare with indys.

These twodealers are good to deal with.

I know that a lot of people are unhappy with the "Stealerships" as they call them, but HD has given all of us several options when it comes to places to have your bike serviced. If your not happy where you currently go, why not try another place? I know that I personally traveled about a hour to get the dealership of my choice, and so far I'm happy and will continue to go there, until something negative happens, thenI will consider going somewhere else...

GREAT to hear you had a good experiance...

Ride safe!

Those are the kind of dealers who know how to generate more business by good word of mouth and good will. They'll get more back than they spent doing you right. Nice.

A note to confused. You probably have a PO 577 fault if you check the codes. Mine has been doing the same thing but havent gotten it to the dealer yet. On the phone they said it is probably a glitch. I bet it is.
