Default Streetglide Tailight on a Roadglide Help!

I hope someone can help with this. I have a Walter's Workshop bracket on my RG that mounts the license under the rear tailight. It (like all stainless brackets I've ever had on my bikes cracked). I figure (unless someone has a better idea) to install a Streetglide rear light bar and license plate bracket. I already have the Streetglide rear fender tip ligh/filler panels. Here is a list of parts I figure I'll need. Does anyone see something I missed?

68629-05 Streetglide light bar 1
69353-05 Lamp assembly Streetglide 1
94412-05 Screw for lamp assembly 2
60089-05 License bracket top Streetglide 1
60090-05 License bracket bottom Streetglide 1
67845-05 Bumper Streetglide 1
3652 Screw Streetglide license bracket 2
7036 Lock washer for 3652 2
2660 Screw Streetglide for bottom license bracket 2
7069 lockwasher for 2660 2
6716 Flat washer for 2660 2
67266-05 Plastic Bushing Streetglide 2

I'm a little unclear of what holes the 67266-05 plastic bushings go in? Are they holes my fender already has? Does anyone have any advice on this swap? Thanks for the help.....Ward

Nothing except I already have the tailight lens they show without the white insert lighting up where the old license mounted, I already have the Harley-Davidson trim piece they show that goes where the old license plate mounted andI don't need the fender trim piece they showsinceI alread have the SG lighted fender trim. The total for tha partsI listed is around $115 not counting shipping from Zanottis, so there is quite a savings too. Thanks for the heads up though...........Ward

I used the HD Rear Turn Signal & License Plate Relo Kit, HD PN 53702-04A that Dawg referenced when I did the SG rear fender/facia/LED installation 2+ years ago.

You have some of the parts from that kit, but not all. I suggest you get the Service Parts page from that kit's installation instructionsand compare it to your list.If you ask nicely, Dawg can probably PM you the page, or stop by a HD store parts counter and ask them to print it out for you--mine does this for customers--just give them the PN for the kit. A quick look at my Service Parts page shows it has no reference for the bushing you mention that you have a question about, and it gives a different PN for the tail lamp cover screw.

Also, I didn't use the60090-05 bracketas it prevented me from using a simple HD chrome license plate frame, and the bracket used to mount thelicense plate, 60089-05, needed to have its corners ground to provide room for the lower license plate screw hardware. It's been 2+ years since I did this project, and there may be ways to mount a chromelicense plate trim that I should have, but didn't, consider.

Good luck with your project.

I didn't use the support tubecover that has the "Harley-Davidson" script--purchased a take-off SG chrome support tube that doesn't have the license plate mounting points and prefer it to the script--anyone installing the Stealth Luggage rack on an SG will have the tube as a take-off part.
