Default wild1575 and handlebar mirrors

Hi all i installed a pair of wild1 575 bars on my 2006 street glide. I am in the process of converting to handle bar mountmirrors. I borrowed some stock short stem mirrors from my buddie off his flht. I like them much better than the fairing mount mirrors that are rendered useless as everyone else on this forum has posted. I would like to see the different styles you all are using. post your pictures and your experience with the different styles of mirrors that are avaliable.

Curious how you plan to plug the holes in the inner fairing when you remove your fairing-mounted mirrors.
Thanks in advance...

I currently placed a piece of black tape over the holes to keep the elements out but i plan to trade my sparewith my buddie after he gets his spare flht innerfairing painted. once he does the swap i will take his old one to the painter and change mine. i considered a number of things other than tape. i was going to go check out the plugs that have been suggested from lowes. i even thought about drilling out the two holes to a size big enough to only need one plug per side. I ruled that out because i will probable sell my painted fairing after i make my swap. I am not too sure about my fairing looking like swiss cheese with a bunch of plugs so i will take my touch up paint and paint the tape to match until i can make the change. sounds cheep but it is only temporary.

Lowe's makes some plugs that match almost perfectly. They are in the specialty hardware section. I secured mine from behind with some silicone adhesive. I'll probably replace the inner fairing someday, but for now, it works.

I went to lowes today and picked up the plugs. looks much better than i anticipated. I also used my touch up paint and painted them. I think i found a temporary permenant solution.
