Ordered Bub 7's (slip on) and a V&H fuel pack from eastern performance 11:00 am wednesday and had the pipes on thursday afternoon ('08 road king). Fuel pack instructions claim no setting w/o including a high-flow air filter, which I do plan to do. Anyway, the bike is running well without the pack install (no popping...) so far on my limitted short test runs so, will I be ok riding until I get around to the air cleaner? Thanks for any input,

U R fine to run the slip on's with out the Fuel Pak until the AC comes in. I had Rush slip on's with 1.75 baffles without an AC or PC III and ran fine.

 

Yea, I rode mine about 500 mi or so without any other changes except exhaust and it didnt seem any hotter that I could notice.

 

Until you do an air cleaner/intake modification, you don't have anything to worry about.

exhaust mods alone need nothing else, but time and money will bring the need to change more, Eastern Performance can't be beat for customer service and fast shipping.

 

Ive just put on BUB 7s, but the true duels, will I harm anything riding it without fuel mgmt?

 

Thanks for the responses. Put 80 miles on today with no problems. And +1 for Eastern Performance shipping, it's there the next day every time at no charge.
